I answered a craigslist ad and DJ'ed an art show. I rocked it Middle Tennessee style, but it did not turn into a dance party.

This pedestrian overpass near my apartment is safe and convenient, but the razor wire maybe wasn't the friendliest decision Portland has ever made.
Good thing I had this $800 ladder just sitting around.
Other people have to use this washing machine, too. Maybe you should just do one load at a time.

Strange unfamiliar feeling rising in my gut... warming cold black lonely heart... undoing cynicism embedded from being a teenager in the '90s and from being alive for the last eight years... what can it be? Ohhhhhhh... pride in my country.
I downloaded the Super Nintendo game Tetris Attack (which has nothing to do with Tetris). My life is now over because that game is so addictive.

Through playing to a click, I discovered secret measures of 5/4 and 6/4 in the chorus of "A Group Thing" that I didn't realize were there. Take that, Geddy Lee - I can write nerdy technical music without even trying!
My former co-worker Keith watched her while I was gone.
Nobody messed with my car or my apartment while I was gone. Too bad nobody broke in to clean up for me. That seems like something a Portlander might do.
I thought this would work but you can see the sides of the capitol building sticking out.
Kendall didn't have much more luck lining up the Washington monument.
I took the Metro down to Matt and Kendall's apartment in D.C. They are awesome, that map (a map of U.S. territories as of 1953) is awesome, and hanging out with them all weekend is awesome.
I took a train to see my Dad in D.C. Don't worry - the pantry is still fully stocked.
If you're going to record a proper version of "A Group Thing," you've got to get Laurel Lane to sing the female vocal part. Pretty convenient that she lives in Richmond now.
I have to mail some things to myself in Portland because I'm taking back more than I came with.

Anne and I painted these cardboard squares and then put them up on her wall.
Anne doesn't have a Facebook, so I'm going to make her one using this picture. Come to think of it, I don't have a Facebook.. somebody needs to make me one.
Update: Now we both have Facebook pages.
Update #2: Facebook is so stupid! How do I make it so I don't see everyone's tiny updates on my wall? Oh - someone I barely know said something to someone else I barely know. Why do people like this site?
