The second ocean I've seen this year

Michael Lease and Kim like unbearably cold windy beaches.

Richmond Hot Spots

The first time I've been to Harrison Street in years. I would have preferred the salad over the chips, but the girl didn't ask. She treated me like a human being though, which is more than I can say for their service in days gone by.

Ipanema at night... it's great now that the smoking ban is in effect.

Dad's Pantry

Not quite as full as it was in its glory days.

Leaving for the East Coast early in the morning!!

I'll be there for a month! What am I going to do with myself?
I'll get to DC and Richmond of course, and maybe Tennessee for new years. I don't know if that's possible but it would be so much fun to see friends again.
I promise I'll keep myself busy and put up lots of pictures. I know I haven't been so good about that lately.

PS - Found Photo Friday in 2010 will accept submissions. So send me any good ones you have.

Latest prints

A funny thing happens when you take flat-lit snapshot-y pictures and print them at 20" x 30" - they start looking like art.

It's been too long since you've called me

So I have to make pictures where I only pretend to be on the phone.

Back in Portland

Nobody broke in while I was gone. Although it's a little messy, maybe I wouldn't have noticed if someone had.

Richmond Zoo

It was really empty and this carousel's music would not stop.

The music was a crazy soundtrack to the first half of the zoo.

I guess this is so you know whether or not the kangaroos are hurting each other.
