The first day of photography class at camp went like this: here's a camera, take lots of pictures, then we'll look at them and talk about them at the end of class. So many of the girls took pictures of their shoes...
At first we thought she had just abandoned her kittens, since she just started hanging out on the porch again without a care in the world. Now we think they are safely hidden away. No proof yet, though.
I'd like to watch all of Ryan Trecartin's I-Be Area sometime, but since it's somewhat narrative and two hours long, having it on a loop is not the best way to get me to do that. Otherwise, I'm impressed that Nashville got some big contemporary names to come to town - Paul McCarthy, Mike Kelly, Kalup Lindsey. But my favorite was Guy Ben-Nur's Stealing Beauty, which was shot entirely with hidden cameras in Ikea stores.
All four roommates in my house were planning on going to the same party in Nashville. However, due to a series of Seinfeld-esque miscommunications, everyone drove separately and I was left behind. By the time I realized everyone left without me, it was too late to drive up there myself.
