Full Service Only

I could get fined $500 for pumping my own gas. I don't know, Oregon, that's pretty lame. I mean, I have over 12 years of experience.

Portland!!!

You drove for seven hours and then moved all your stuff into a storage space without passing out. (+10,000,000 points)

Your wagon arrived safely with all of its axles and wheels intact. (+595,000,000,000,000 points)

Except for this crack on your windshield (?!?!?!??) (-48,500,999 points)

Oregon Trail Day 1

Yeah I was actually driving away at this moment.

The connector for the trailer's wiring got too close to the tailpipe and melted. It still works though.

I had hoped to stop in the cities I'm going through and look around, but my car takes up two parking spaces, so that means I can pretty much only stop in truck stops.

Sunday night at 7 while towing a trailer is not exactly the ideal time to do touristy things, so this is as close as I got to St. Louis.

Next stop: Henry's apartment in Kansas City. I've never looked forward to seeing him so much.

12 Hours of Packing (2pm - 2am)

Some Jehovah's Witnesses woke me up and gave me these things.

Then I got this trailer.

I have so much more stuff than I thought.

The boxes just kept coming.

In retrospect, I should have taken two days to pack and I should have asked people to help me. Luckily, Devin called and asked if I needed help.

Cheatham County Fair

You can do it yourself...

Or watch the professionals do it...

Two things I don't understand about this video:

(1) The dude's car catches on fire, YET HE CONTINUES TO DRIVE IT
(2) The crowd boos him.. for what? for getting out of the burning car?

Don't worry though, a quick spray of the fire extinguisher and he was back in the demolition derby.

1995 Jetta GLX for sale - needs engine work

It's attracting alot of attention from the ad on craigslist! However, my phone has just died and that's making it difficult to get in touch with any potential buyers beyond the intial e-mail. People in Tennessee who want to buy a car that needs engine work aren't very computer-literate.
