Time to clean some of these clothes out of my old closet at Mom's house

Alot of those boxes also have clothes in them.

Halcyon's clothes buyer wasn't in, but they did have this amazing shirt. I really could not pull off something like this, so it's still there if you want it.

Bygones gave me $40 for six things.

If you want the leftovers, you can go to Diversity Thrift.

Anne came to Nashville and then we drove to Richmond together!

We walked around Broadway the night she was in Nashville and saw all the crazy country people out for CMA Fanfare or whatever it's called.

We stopped at a flea market somewhere along the way to Richmond.

We did the crossword puzzle in the car.

And, of course, we stopped at Macado's in Salem for dinner and I, of course, got a Molly Brown, which is, of course, the best sandwich on the planet (excluding, of course, the entire menu at Harrison Street Coffee).

Official Announcement

In August I will be moving to Portland, Oregon to attend Pacific Northwest College of Art. If all works out, this will lead to an MFA in photography (but technically I am taking some undergrad classes first to catch up).

It's bicycle season again!

Today at the school zone near my house, the crossing guard stopped traffic so I could get through the intersection. It was cute.

Nashville Rollergirls

The track is just tube lights taped to the floor so you can sit really close.

This dude was quietly pondering the violence in front of him.

Cause I can't remember the last time I played it.
Also, as far as I can tell, it's the only one like it for sale on the whole entire internet.

The Cary Street Sessions now available!!

I recorded these songs four years ago and just now got around to putting them together on a CD and making a cover. You can get a copy for $5 at shows (like the one this Friday at Tomato Tomato), my myspace page, or my website.
Or if you think you deserve a free copy, you can mail a letter containing a personal tale or anecdote to:

The most beautiful thing I've ever seen

If you can say that and simultaneously really mean it and be making fun of it, then we should be friends.

What Holds the World Together

I was really into American Music Club in high school. I saw them the other night and even though they played mostly new songs that I didn't know, I still really enjoyed the show.

Porch Talking, 1988

While on a family vacation, I got upset about something and had to go on a walk and have a talk with Dad to calm down. Then my step-mother came along and snapped this picture of the talk.

Chest Burstin'

This movie is so absolutely amazing. However, I do not recommend any of the sequels.
